Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The international survey institute Ipsos Public Affairs revealed the results of the latest opinion poll conducted in October 2023. In the simulation of the pair of Presidential Candidates (capres) and Vice Presidential Candidates (cawapres), Ganjar Pranowo-Sandiaga Uno was considered superior and capable of overthrowing the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran pair Rakabuming in the upcoming 2024 presidential election.
From the survey results regarding the simulation of the names of the 3 presidential and vice presidential candidates, if the Presidential General Election (Pemilu) were held today, the majority of respondents would choose the pair Ganjar Pranowo-Sandiaga Uno. This pair excelled in occupying the top position, surpassing the pair Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming and Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin).
“Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar 22.61%, Ganjar Pranowo-Sandiaga Salahudin Uno 32.74%, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming 29.62%,” said political analyst and senior Ipsos Public Affairs researcher Arif Nurul Imam, Monday (16/ 10/2023).
The pair Ganjar Pranowo-Sandiaga Uno took first place with 32.74% of the vote. Then, followed by the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming pair in second place with 29.62% of the vote.
Meanwhile, the Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar pair occupied the last position with 22.61% of the vote. The remaining 15.04% of respondents said they didn’t know/it was a secret.
The survey will take place from 1-10 October 2023 in 34 provinces in Indonesia. A total of 2,039 respondents were interviewed face to face using the Ipsos Ifield application.
The criteria for respondents are individuals who already have the right to vote or are aged 17 years or over or are married, with a Margin of Error of 2.19% and a confidence level of 95%.
