Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The Pre-Employment Card Program has reopened for its 62nd batch. Registration has started on October 11, 2023.

For Indonesian people who want to register, there are methods and several conditions that must be known.

According to the official Instagram page @prakerja.go.id, Wave 62 Pre-Employment Cards is the last wave in 2023.


The Pre-Employment Card Program itself is a work and entrepreneurship competency development aimed at job seekers, workers/laborers who have been laid off, and/or workers/laborers who need increased competency, including micro and small business actors.

The benefits that can be obtained from the Pre-Employment Card program are increasing work productivity and competitiveness, developing workforce competency, and developing entrepreneurship.

How to Register for a Pre-Employment Card

  1. Open the site https://www.prakerja.go.id/
  2. Click ‘Register Now’
  3. Create an account by entering your email address and password
  4. Verify KTP and KK by entering 16 digits NIK, 16 digits KK and date of birth
  5. Fill in your personal data completely and accurately
  6. Upload a photo of your e-KTP
  7. Scan your face by blinking your eyes
  8. Answer questions about the reasons for taking the Pre-Employment Card
  9. Complete the questions regarding training of interest and skills
  10. Verify that your cellphone number is still active. Fill in the registration statement according to your condition

Take the Basic Ability Test (TKD)

  1. Open the site www.prakerja.go.id/besar
  2. Enter the email address and password for the registered account
  3. Verify by entering the OTP code sent to the email
  4. Enter the 6 digit OTP code
  5. Applicants can now log in to their Prakerja account

Pre-Employment Card Registration Requirements

  1. Indonesian citizens must be a minimum of 18 years old and a maximum of 64 years old.
  2. Not currently pursuing formal education.
  3. Currently looking for work, workers/laborers who have been laid off, or workers/laborers who need to increase their work competency, such as workers/laborers who have been laid off and workers who do not receive wages, including micro & small business actors.
  4. Not State Officials, Leaders and Members of DPRD, State Civil Apparatus, TNI Soldiers, Police Members, Village Heads and village officials and Directors/Commissioners/Council
  5. Supervisor at BUMN or BUMD
  6. Maximum of 2 NIK in 1 family who are recipients of pre-employment cards.
