Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf), Sandiaga Uno, has guaranteed that the Coldplay concert in Jakarta next month will not be disrupted even though it coincides with the 2023 U-17 World Cup in Indonesia.
“The U-17 World Cup will take place at the same time as the Coldplay concert. We have coordinated it and it won’t be a problem because the arrangements have been given,” said Sandi. at the Office of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf), Monday (23/10/2023).
Furthermore, Sandi said that his party had prepared a special strategy so that the implementation of the Coldplay ‘Music of the Spheres World Tour’ Jakarta concert and the 2023 U-17 World Cup would provide benefits for the country, including increasing the number of tourists.
“Our strategy is to use two events “This size is not to overlap, but to increase the number of foreign tourist visits and the movement of domestic tourists, and will not interfere with other activities in the capital,” explained Sandi.
