BMKG has just released a list of the hottest cities in Indonesia for 23 October 2023 at 07.00 WIB to 24 October 2023 at 07.00 WIB, Tuesday (24/10/2023). As a result, Kertajati finally dropped from the top three positions in the hottest cities in the country after one week in a row.
Based on the daily maximum temperature report in Indonesia released via the official Instagram account (@infobmkg), South Tangerang is the hottest city in Indonesia with the highest recorded temperature of 37.4 degrees Celsius according to records from the Center for Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Region II.
Meanwhile, the second position as the hottest city is occupied by Bandar Lampung with the highest temperature of 37 degrees Celsius. This data was recorded by Panjang Maritime Meteorology, Bandar Lampung.
Meanwhile, the third hottest city in Indonesia is Palu, Central Sulawesi with a maximum temperature of 36.8 degrees Celsius. This figure is based on records from the Mutiara Sis-Al Jufri Meteorological Station.
